CERTIFICATION IN BIBLICAL COUNSELING
This program provides a clear structured pathway to becoming a Certified Biblical Counselor in partnership with; Foundation Baptist College, Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC)
It is designed to equip students with both deep Theological understanding and Practical Counselling skills for real-life situations. It is rooted in Scripture not trends, Designed for working adults, Intergrated into our degree programs both Undergraduate and Masters level and offers Structured support to help you succeed. It aims to equip both Pastors and Everyday mature believers to provide answers to people searching for help with real struggles. Two Pathways
ACBC Certification Pathway (Three phases)
Phase 1 – Education Phase
Foundational course in Systematic Theology for Counseling and Basics of Biblical Counseling. Approximately 1000 pages of guided reading and 10 hours of Observation of real counseling sessions
Phase 2 – Examination Phase
Completion of 44 open-book essay questions covering theology and counseling principles. This helps students develop a clear, biblical counseling framework. An evaluation of your character and character references is also done.
Phase 3 – Practical Training Phase
50 hours of supervised counseling with Real-life counseling experience and Ongoing feedback and mentorship
Degree Program Integrated : Master of Theology (10 Graduate credits, 1 year)
It is Built into our Masters degree in Theology with Counseling Emphasis so that you will not only get ACBC Certification but you will also get Masters degree credits. A third of the way towards our Master of Theology.
All the ACBC requirements have been integrated into these classes but in a classroom frame work. Together with other students that can be an encouragement and an in-person teacher, just to help you get it all done as you manage all the other aspects of your life.
Each one of these classes can be taken one by one, working through in just around a year to complete the entire process.

We meticulously designed this program to accommodate the busy schedules of working learners. With intensive blocks of study, all classes are available online and in person, in a way that will not distract your life as you pursue this theological training. The interactive format allows you to ask questions with the teacher before you, instead of a prerecorded format. Personalized support to help you keep on track is key. This framework gives a clear path way to your success in the program, together with a like minded motivated cohort . Experienced counselors and graders will be set up as well.

Ministry Training should not keep you out of ministry by strapping you with debt. We work hard to keep our programs affordable, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder your training goals to ministry. At Only $2500 Canadian Dollars (Total Tuition Cost) for 10 Graduate Credits, you can graduate and begin to serve immediately in just around a year to complete the entire process.

Understanding, interpreting and explaining the text is the central skill for any pastor or believer. This program strips away the extras and focuses on the core – Systematic and Biblical Theology, Practical application and much more.
